Mark Bernfeld
Mark Bernfeld is an experienced entrepreneur, angel investor and Professor of Entrepreneurship at Northeastern University. He has 35 years of experience in the insurance and energy industries. Mark recently co-founded the startup MentorWorks Education Capital, which empowers students with a combination of financing and networking/mentorship opportunities. He received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Mathematics from Dartmouth College.
Nicholas Myers
Nicholas Myers is the CEO of Phoenix Tailings and an alumni of Northeastern. While on campus, Nick founded the Huntington Angels Network. After roles within investment banking and startup accelerators, such as Techstars, Nick decided that the best way to make a positive impact on the world was by attempting to revitalize an outdated industry with his own novel idea. Started in Fall 2018, Phoenix Tailings is working to revolutionize the mining industry with long term, sustainable solutions.
Nick Christian
Nick Christian is the Head of Specialty Finance at Silicon Valley Bank and is responsible for the Bank’s Strategic Capital Group and Warehouse Lending practice. Nick was a Founding Member of the Strategic Capital Group at SVB which provides junior debt options for growth stage technology companies. He received a BSBA in Finance and Management with a minor in Economics at Northeastern University.
